Plain answers about what Jaagur keeps, why, and what we never do.
Jaagur is a wholesale ordering service for kirana and independent grocery retailers in India. We are the wholesaler you buy from — not a marketplace and not an advertising business.
Running your account and nothing else: verifying your shop, pricing and delivering your orders, raising correct GST invoices, and telling you when an order moves.
Your data is not sold and not handed to advertisers, and there is no third-party analytics profile built on your buying.
This app never collects your location. It does not ask Android for location permission, so it could not track you even by mistake. Deliveries are confirmed with the delivery code you hold — not by GPS. Most apps in this trade track their users' movements; we chose not to.
Orders and GST invoices are tax records. GST law requires both of us to keep them for at least six years, so those stay even if you stop ordering.
Things that are not tax records — your saved items, saved addresses and notification token — carry no such requirement and go when your account does.
Want your account and data removed? Email mangalaenterprisesch@gmail.com and ask, or contact support from the Help screen in the app. A real person handles it, confirms what will be deleted, and tells you what must legally stay (the tax records above).
We do it this way rather than with a delete button because closing a wholesale account usually has open orders and dues to settle first.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud, asia-south1 — India), which processes it on our behalf. Sign-in codes are sent by SMS through Firebase Authentication. Nobody else receives it.
Jaagur is a business-to-business service for registered retailers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the same text appears inside the app under Account → Your data.

Write to us to ask what we hold about your shop, to correct it, or to have your account and data deleted. We reply to deletion requests within 30 days and tell you exactly what was removed and what had to stay.
